Igniting Propellant from an Airsoft Gun (Part 1)

This particular pistol is designed to fire small plastic BB's at about 400 feet per second using compressed Propane gas as a propellant. It's definitely not a toy! In this experiment, one of our visiting engineer friends Tim fires it into a propane torch without BB's. As you can tell, Tim knows a thing or two about the physics of combustion.
